But one question: Tin I delete the files from memory stick?
Yes you can delete everything if you could make the custom firmware permanent, if not yous only need to continue the Fast Recovery files.

I accept a PSP 1001 that has custom firmware installed from a few years back. I've been able to update to the 6.lx organization software. When I run the ProUpdate or the Fast Recovery, I get the Black Screen with the options to launch/uninstall/reinstall or exit CFW. Afterward installing it and so boots to IR Shell which was role of the previous CFW. Any ideas on how to get rid of IR Shell?

Maybe you accept a plugin that is configured to auto start an application? I believe somewhere on your memory card you lot might have a configuration file of what plugins are loaded when the PSP is powered on. I imagine that is been loaded at a guess.

Everything was great up to the PSPIdent, where it said "the data is corrupt. Cannot beginning the game". I tried to skip that and apply the flasher, but that was decadent also. I don't really understand whats going on, every bit i followed all of the steps perfectly. aid?

when i update "PSP ver 6.lx" information technology say's "The system software of your psp system is version nine.90. there is no need to update"
but when i check to "Arrangement settings>Arrangement information" it says my system software is 5.50 Gen-D3

i tried 6.60 pro c2 on my psp3000, its running ofw 6.sixty. the psp shuts downward when i try to flash pro udate instead of rebooting on cfw , i tried this with all versions 6.60 cfw only no use my psp just shuts off.
As the guide mentions you can only permanently install this firmware on a PSP m or a PSP 2000 that is non an 88 v3 version. Y'all can non permanently flash this to a PSP 3000.
